Presence Under Pressure is a half-day live masterclass where you build your own pause practice and rehearse it on a real leadership situation. The webinar covered the what and the why. This session is the how. You'll work on your own patterns and leave with tools you'll use the next morning.
What to expect:
About 3.5 hours on Zoom, with two breaks.
A small group, with practice in pairs and trios. Camera on if you can.
Your workbook, printed if possible, and the situation you chose from the preparation email.
Real practice, not just listening. You decide how much personal detail to share, and breakout rooms aren't recorded.
You'll leave with your Personal Pressure Map, Regulation Repertoire Card, a rehearsed plan for your situation and a 14-day practice log.
A 60-minute integration call two weeks later. The recording is available for 30 days.
A half-day live practice session in five parts, as listed on the landing page, with two breaks. Participants should arrive with the workbook printed and their situation for Part 3 chosen; both are set up by the email five days before.
Have ready: slides, Zoom breakout rooms set up for pairs and trios, the workbook, and the Personal Pressure Map, Regulation Repertoire Card and 14-day log pages.
By the end of the Masterclass, you will be able to:

Spot your earliest pressure signals
Learn to identify signals in your body and thinking, before they shape your words.

Name what is happening precisely
Including the primary emotion beneath the one you usually show.

Regulate your system in under 90 seconds
Using techniques discreet enough for a boardroom.

Track your patterns over time
So you can prepare for the situations that reliably pull you off course.

Turn insight into visible behavior change
Specific changes that the people you lead will actually notice.

Use Presence to intentionally influence
Intentionally influence the emotional tone of the room.
What to Expect
Presence Under Pressure
In the webinar, you'll look at what the pause is and why emotional agility shapes everything downstream of you, but understanding it is the easy part. The hard part is reaching for the pause at 4 p.m. on a Friday, in the middle of a tense exchange, with your body already ahead of your judgment. Presence Under Pressure is where we work on how to actually practice it everyday when the pressure is on. This is a practice session, not a lecture. You'll work on your own patterns, with your own situations, and you'll rehearse the practice before you need it.
What you'll learn
Spot your earliest pressure signals in your body and thinking, before they shape your words.
Name what is happening precisely, including the primary emotion beneath the one you usually show.
Regulate in under 90 seconds using techniques discreet enough for a boardroom.
Track your patterns so you can prepare for the situations that reliably pull you off course instead of only recovering after them.
Turn one insight into one visible behavior change that the people you lead will actually notice.
Bring presence into the room, setting the emotional tone of a meeting deliberately rather than by accident.
What's Included
The live half-day masterclass, about 3.5 hours on Zoom.
The Presence Under Pressure Workbook, with every exercise from the session to reuse afterward.
Your Personal Pressure Map: your triggers, signals and default reactions, on one page.
Your Regulation Repertoire Card: the three to five techniques that work for you, in order of use.
A 14-day Pause Practice Log to use between the masterclass and the integration call.
A 60-minute live integration call two weeks later, where we review what held, what broke down and what to adjust as needed.

What our students say

“Aang Lakey's teaching isn't just theoretical — the framework feels deeply practical. I now catch myself noticing internal patterns, emotional cues, and misalignments between what I intend and how I act. The guided reflections and real-world applications helped me build a more conscious, grounded leadership presence. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to lead with authenticity and presence.”
Kathy G.E.

So grateful I took this course. It helped me unlearn old leadership habits that were reactive and instead learn to pause, reflect, and realign. The framework Aang teaches is super powerful — I use it in stressful meetings, in team conversations, and even in day-to-day decision making. What I love most is how this isn't just about being better, but being more true to my values. Incredible course.”
